After 24 hours of skin contact this wine was fermented in stainless steel and moved to neutral French barrels when dry, six months sur lie aging helped develop its remarkable weight. Having not gone through malolactic fermentation the wine retains all its bright acid. Always a favorite and extremely limited, the 2018 Riesling is has a pale yellow hue, the bright aromatics of honey, orange blossom, apricot and tropical fruit are complimented by a touch of minerality and thyme. The palate showcases palate coating weight balanced with high acidity. Flavors of zesty key lime, pineapple, and underripe mango give way to a long finish. Drink now to 3-7 years.
